Constituents:

·         1-4%Volatile Oils of (60-80%) cinnamaldhyde, Eugenol (up to 10%)
·         Condensed tannin (catechol tannins)
·         Terpenes: monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes
·         Gum
·         Mucilage
·         Resin
·         Starch
·         Sugars
·         Traces of coumarins 


Uses:

·         Flavoring agent
·         Carminative : Distension , and Flatulence and Flatulent colic
·         Antiseptic
·         Astringent
·         Loss of appetite
·         Dyspeptic  complains such as mild spastic conditions of the (G.I.T)
·         Treat anorexia (poor appetite) ,nausea
